Anne Reeder Heck
Ashville, North Carolina USA
With passion for combining healing and creativity, and inspired by her mother, an avid quilter, Anne Reeder Heck found making dolls her perfect expression.
She’s been creating dolls since 2008 and teaching healing doll playshops since 2010.
In 1991 at age 26, Anne survived a violent assault and has spent much of her adult life working, often at very deep levels, to heal the trauma associated with this incident. She has come to know this as an initiatory experience in her life and as a formative factor in whom she has become and where she has been called to assist others.
Outside of her art studio, Anne helps women who've lost themselves in trauma and who yearn to find peace and meaning from their experience. With over 20 years experience in wellness and ordained as an Interfaith Minister, Anne brings clear intuitive insight and wisdom to her clients through healing and counseling sessions. She provides clear and compassionate support to living life in strength, fullness and without fear.
Anne lives in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of NC with her lovely and loved family. She enjoys writing and shares openly her life experience through reflections, photography and poetry on her website www.anneheck.com
